Prenuvo Full Body MRI Scan

Prenuvo is available in California, New York, Washington DC, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota. After you purchase the scan, our team will reach out with scheduling instructions for your nearest Prenuvo clinic.

Up to 75 minutes inside the scanner. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment to complete a safety questionnaire and medical intake form. The scanner has an open-bore design that keeps your head outside the magnet for most scans.

Fast for 4 hours before your scan so the radiologist can capture the clearest images of your stomach, bowel, and gallbladder. Water, tea, and black coffee are fine. You'll be given scrubs to change into at the clinic, so no specific clothing is required.

A wide range of findings including cancers (prostate, kidney, liver, pancreatic, ovarian, brain), aneurysms and vascular malformations, neurological conditions (early stroke signs, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative changes), fatty liver disease, spine degeneration, and inflammation patterns.

It is not designed to detect polyps (best assessed via colonoscopy), it does not replace a dedicated breast cancer MRI, and lipomas may not be readily detected. Prenuvo is intended to supplement — not replace — guideline-based targeted cancer screening.

Prenuvo MRI uses no ionizing radiation and no intravascular contrast dye. People with pacemakers cannot be scanned. IUDs, dental implants, fillings, and tattoos are all safe. If you have any history of metal fragments in your body — particularly in the eyes — contact Prenuvo a week or two in advance for a quick clearance X-ray. Pregnant individuals should not be scanned.

Prenuvo's open-bore scanner allows more than 60% of scans to be conducted with your head outside the magnet, which greatly eases claustrophobic feelings — their clinics report a 1% claustrophobia rate. If anxiety is a concern, their medical team can prescribe a sedative for the scan.

All findings are classified as low, medium (indeterminate), or high risk by a Prenuvo radiologist. Your Mito care team walks through the report with you in a 1:1 consult and helps coordinate any follow-up testing in the context of your other labs. For high-risk findings, you'll be contacted directly.

Reports are typically delivered within a few weeks. You'll receive a detailed physician report, key images, and links to the full DICOM image series.
