How is Mito different from my existing health screening provider?
Mito covers a comprehensive range of lab tests typically found in standard health screening packages and goes even further with access to advanced biomarkers, including heart, metabolic, liver, and cancer indicators. Additionally, Mito delivers personalized, longevity-focused insights and recommendations based on these test results.
Do I have to use my real name on my Mito account?
Yes, you will need to show your ID during the screening and it must be exact match in order to be tested.
What biomarkers are covered in the blood test and diagnostics?
Our comprehensive blood test covers key biomarkers related to your health and longevity, including cardiovascular health, liver function, kidney function, blood glucose levels, and various essential vitamins and minerals.
What's your policy if I want to cancel the service?
Mito does not offer refunds for prior payments. Please email to help@mitohealth.com for any account related matters.
Plans & Payment
What are regions and which regions should I select?
Mito Health operates in both the United States and Singapore. During the signup process, you'll need to select your preferred blood draw location. This ensures you receive the correct list of services and prices available in that region. To choose the appropriate region, simply select the location where you want your blood draw to take place.
Does my health insurance cover Mito Health?
Mito Health operates without insurance, meaning no deductibles, co-pays, or unexpected charges. We are dedicated to price transparency, ensuring you know exactly what you're paying for. Although we don't accept insurance, our services are payable with HSA/FSA.
What payment options are available?
We currently accept credit card payments. For other payment options, please contact us at help@mitohealth.com and our team will be more than happy to assist you.
Diagnostic Process
Do I need to fast before my blood draw?
Yes, you will need to fast for at least 8 hours before your blood draw. Not fasting adequately might affect various test outcomes, such as insulin levels, glucose readings, triglyceride levels, and more.
Do I need to prepare anything for these tests?
Certain tests may require specific preparation, like fasting for a few hours beforehand. We will provide all necessary instructions before you take any test.
Privacy & Security
How does Mito Health keep my medical data safe?
Mito Health takes privacy and security of your data extremely seriously. We implement a range of measures to protect your data, including the latest technical security practices as well as comprehensive administrative measures.
Your data is encrypted both at-rest and in-transit, ensuring that your sensitive information is always protected. We use best-in-class encryption protocols to provide robust protection against unauthorised access. We also implement strict access controls to ensure that only personnel involved in your care can access your health records.
Who will have access to my results?
Your results are kept between Mito Health and you. Mito Health service providers, such as our blood testing lab, will have access to your results too.
Can I access or control my personal medical data?
Yes, you have full access to your medical data through our secure member portal.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Your medical data belongs to you and nobody else. You can opt to delete your data anytime if you wish by contacting us at membership@mitohealth.com. Please know that by deleting it, we will not be able to recover it should you change your mind.
My Results
How do you create the health optimization plan, and what does it include?
The health optimization plan is created by a medical doctor, augmented with AI, based on your blood work, lifestyle and family history. It includes recommendations on dietary changes, exercise routines, sleep habits, and supplements (where needed) to meet your specific health goals.
When and in what format will I get my test results?
Typically, you will receive your results within a week of testing. They will be available on your personal health dashboard in an easy-to-understand format.
