Full Body MRI Scan
A radiation-free, whole-body look for tumors, aneurysms, and other findings before symptoms appear.
Consider this test if:
- Wanting a one-time structural baseline of the brain, spine, and major organs
- A family history of cancer, aneurysm, or other conditions that often develop silently
- Health-engaged and proactive about catching problems early, before symptoms
- Tracking a previously noted finding to see whether it has changed
- Preferring imaging without ionizing radiation
- HSA/FSA eligible
- Results delivered to your dashboard · Reviewed by a real clinician
Pre-test considerations
No fasting is required for a standard non-contrast full-body MRI. Wear no metal and tell the imaging team about any implants, pacemakers, metal fragments, or pregnancy, since these can affect safety and image quality. The scan involves lying still inside the bore for an extended period, so let staff know in advance if you have claustrophobia.

What this test is for
A full-body MRI uses magnetic fields, not radiation, to image from the head to the ankles in a single session, covering the brain, spine, major organs, and soft tissue. It is a proactive screening tool: the goal is to catch solid tumors, aneurysms, cysts, herniated discs, and other structural abnormalities early, often before they cause any symptoms. It produces a large set of detailed images that a radiologist reviews for anything that looks out of place. Because it is sensitive, it also turns up incidental findings that are benign or need follow-up imaging to clarify, so a clean read is reassuring and an ambiguous one usually leads to a targeted next scan rather than alarm. It does not replace targeted screening such as mammography, low-dose CT for lung, or colonoscopy, which remain the right tools for those specific cancers.

Frequently asked questions
View all FAQsHow does pricing work?
Every test shows the member price next to the standard non-member price, so you can see what membership saves you. The member price is our cost — covering the lab and what it takes to run the service — never a profit on the test itself; Mito makes its money on the $9 membership, not on marking up your tests. Membership is $9/mo, and you still pay the lab’s order fee. Prices are itemized before you pay, with no hidden fees.
Where do I get tested?
Choose a partner lab (Quest, Labcorp, or BioReference) at checkout. If your cart spans multiple tests, we consolidate the whole order onto a single lab so you only make one visit.
Is this eligible for HSA/FSA?
Yes. This test is HSA/FSA eligible, and you can pay with your HSA/FSA card at checkout.
When will I get my results?
Your results post to your dashboard once your lab completes them, then a clinician reviews them and your full analysis and personalized action plan (with clear next steps) follow. Turnaround varies by test: specialty assays and at-home kits take longer, and each test shows its expected turnaround before you buy.
Do I need a doctor’s order?
No. Mito provides the lab order for you, so you can book and get tested without a separate doctor visit.
