MitoQ 10mg Details
MitoQ® Mitoquinol is a mitochondrially targeted antioxidant designed to accumulate at the inner mitochondrial membrane, where the majority of reactive oxygen species (ROS) are generated.
MitoQ® Mitoquinol is a ubiquinol-derived antioxidant attached to a positively charged TPP(+) cation, allowing it to be directly absorbed into the inner mitochondrial membrane, bypassing the limitations of standard CoQ10.
Clinical Data
- Supports vascular nitric oxide (NO) signalling, endothelial health, and blood flow
- Reduces ROS at the mitochondrial source and supports inflammatory balance
- Supports mitochondrial function, respiratory efficiency, and ATP availability
- Supports exercise performance
- Supports endogenous antioxidant systems (CAT, GP, GSH)
Benefits
At a cellular level, MitoQ® Mitoquinol supports mitochondrial function by increasing antioxidant capacity, helping to reduce oxidative stress, and protecting mitochondrial DNA.
MitoQ® Mitoquinol has demonstrated benefits for cardiovascular health. By reducing oxidative stress in the endothelium, it supports nitric oxide production, promoting healthy blood flow, blood pressure, and vascular function.
MitoQ® Mitoquinol may be particularly relevant in cases where mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress contribute to functional decline.
