About this test
Galleri is a multi-cancer early detection test that looks for cancer in the blood by reading DNA methylation patterns on cell-free DNA, the genetic fragments tumors shed into circulation. When it detects a cancer signal, it also predicts where the signal likely originated, which directs the diagnostic workup. Its value is breadth: most cancers have no recommended screening test at all, so this is meant to complement, not replace, established screens like colonoscopy and mammography.
It is designed for adults at elevated risk, generally age 50 and older, and is not recommended during pregnancy, under age 22, or during active cancer treatment. A detected signal requires confirmatory diagnostic testing by a clinician and is not a diagnosis on its own, and the test does not catch every cancer, so a result that finds no signal does not replace your routine screenings.
Why are there member and non-member prices?
Members get Mito's no-markup price on tests. The non-member price is the standard price.
Mito membership is $9/month and unlocks member pricing across the catalog. It's how Mito is supported, so we don't have to mark up your tests or earn more when you buy more. Your member savings are applied at checkout.

Frequently asked questions
View all FAQsHow does pricing work?
Every test shows the member price next to the standard non-member price, so you can see what membership saves you. Your price is our cost plus a small amount to run the service, never a profit on the test itself; Mito makes its money on the $9 membership, not on marking up your tests. Members pay even less, applied at checkout (membership is $9/mo, and you still pay the lab’s order fee). Prices are itemized before you pay, with no hidden fees.
Where do I get tested?
Choose a partner lab (Quest, Labcorp, or BioReference) at checkout. If your cart spans multiple tests, we consolidate the whole order onto a single lab so you only make one visit.
Is this eligible for HSA/FSA?
Yes. This test is HSA/FSA eligible, and you can pay with your HSA/FSA card at checkout.
When will I get my results?
Your results are typically visible within 1-2 business days of your lab visit. A clinician then reviews them, and your full analysis and personalized action plan — with clear next steps — follow once that review is complete. Specialty assays and at-home kits take longer; each test shows its turnaround before you buy.
Do I need a doctor’s order?
No. Mito provides the lab order for you, so you can book and get tested without a separate doctor visit.
