Estrogens, Total measures the combined level of estrogen hormones circulating in the blood, reported as a single value rather than broken out by individual fraction. In women it tracks the rise and fall across the menstrual cycle and is used to help establish the timing of ovulation and the optimal window for conception, which is why serial samples over several days are often more informative than a single draw. An unexpectedly high total estrogen in a premenarcheal girl, a postmenopausal woman, or a man raises the question of an estrogen-producing tumor or another source of estrogen excess. If you want the individual components broken out (estrone E1 and high-sensitivity estradiol E2 alongside the total), the separate Estrogens panel is the better choice; this test gives the pooled number.

Where do I get tested?
Choose an available partner lab at checkout. If your cart contains multiple blood tests, Mito helps consolidate the eligible tests at one lab when possible. At-home kits and scans follow the collection or appointment process shown on their product page.
Is this eligible for HSA/FSA?

When will I get my results?
