What this test is for
Anti-CCP (cyclic citrullinated peptide) antibodies target proteins the body has modified through citrullination, and they are among the most specific markers for rheumatoid arthritis. A positive result strongly supports an RA diagnosis and helps distinguish it from other causes of joint pain and swelling, such as osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, or lupus. Anti-CCP often turns positive early, sometimes years before symptoms, and high levels are associated with more aggressive, erosive disease, which makes the result useful for prognosis as well as diagnosis. It is commonly checked alongside rheumatoid factor (RF), since the two together are more informative than either alone, and some people with RA are RF-negative but anti-CCP positive.
This is the IgG version, the standard and most widely used anti-CCP test. The separate IgG/IgA combination test adds the IgA antibody class and is used when broader antibody detection is wanted.

Where do I get tested?
Choose an available partner lab at checkout. If your cart contains multiple blood tests, Mito helps consolidate the eligible tests at one lab when possible. At-home kits and scans follow the collection or appointment process shown on their product page.
Is this eligible for HSA/FSA?

When will I get my results?
