What this test is for
Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is produced by the granulosa cells of developing ovarian follicles, which makes it a reliable surrogate for ovarian reserve, the pool of eggs you have remaining. Low AMH points to a smaller follicle pool and predicts a weaker response to ovarian stimulation in IVF, and a rapidly falling level can signal that menopause is approaching. High AMH is commonly seen in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), where many small follicles each contribute to the total. Unlike FSH and estradiol, AMH stays relatively stable across the menstrual cycle, so it can be drawn on any day. It estimates egg quantity, not egg quality or your odds of natural conception on its own, so it is read alongside age, antral follicle count, and your reproductive goals.

Where do I get tested?
Choose an available partner lab at checkout. If your cart contains multiple blood tests, Mito helps consolidate the eligible tests at one lab when possible. At-home kits and scans follow the collection or appointment process shown on their product page.
Is this eligible for HSA/FSA?

When will I get my results?
