Doesn’t curcumin have to be taken with black pepper to be effective?
No. While black pepper extract (piperine) is often added to inferior, lower quality curcumin supplements to promote intestinal permeability and make up for their poor absorption, Dr. Myers designed the Liposomal Curcumin to be the most absorbable form of curcumin on the market today. The micelle liposomal delivery form drastically increases its solubility and bioavailability. This is excellent news for those sensitive to black pepper, or who are searching for the absolute highest quality curcumin complex available.

Is Liposomal Curcumin safe for children, pregnant women, and nursing mothers?
The curcumin complex has no ingredients that are contraindicated for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding mothers. While it is perfectly safe for most people, we still recommend working with a qualified healthcare provider so they can take your other supplements, medications, and health history into account when deciding if Liposomal Curcumin is right for you or your child.

What time of day should I take Liposomal Curcumin? Should I take it with or without food?
This solubilized, micelle liposomal form of curcumin is readily absorbable by your body, and does not need to be taken with food in order to be efficiently utilized. Therefore, we recommend taking it on an empty stomach or between meals so as to not have your meal and digestive process interfere with the structure of absorption of Liposomal Curcumin.
