What is changing at Mito?
We're making Mito simpler and more transparent. Membership is being centered around ongoing guidance, clearer pricing, and access to lower-cost labs and diagnostics.
Why is Mito making this change?
Members have told us the most valuable part of Mito is the ongoing relationship: help tracking your numbers, understanding what they mean, deciding what to do next, and knowing when not to do more. We're evolving Mito around that. You can read the founder's note here: https://mitohealth.com/manifesto
Do I need to do anything right now?
No. There's nothing you need to do right now. We'll communicate clearly before any changes affect your membership.
Will my price change?
Nothing changes today. We'll communicate clearly before any pricing changes affect your membership.
Are labs and scans still part of Mito?
Yes. Diagnostics remain core to Mito. We're making access to labs and diagnostics more transparent and lower-cost.
Are labs getting cheaper?
Yes. Members will have access to lower-cost labs with more transparent pricing, priced at our cost.
What does "at our cost" mean?
It means the member price is our cost, covering the lab and what it takes to run the service, never a profit on the test itself. We don't make money by marking up labs or pushing unnecessary tests; Mito makes its money on the $9/month membership.
Will I still get a consult?
Any consults currently included in your care remain included until your renewal date. Additional consults are available to members for $39.
Will I still have access to my Health Vault?
Yes. Your Health Vault and full history of past labs remain available to you.
Will my clinician or care team change?
No change is required from you. You'll continue to have access to Mito's care and support team.
How does the new $9/month plan affect me?
The new Mito membership is $9/month (or $99/year). For existing members, everything currently included in your care remains included until your renewal date. We'll communicate clearly before any changes affect your membership.
Are supplements and prescriptions included?
Supplements and prescriptions are coming soon. Like labs, our goal is transparent pricing at our cost.
Who can I contact if I have questions?
