How is Mito different from my existing health screening provider?

Mito covers a comprehensive range of lab tests typically found in standard health screening packages and goes even further with access to 67+ biomarkers, including heart, metabolic, liver, and cancer indicators. Additionally, Mito delivers personalized, longevity-focused insights and recommendations based on these test results.

Do I have to use my real name on my Mito account?

Yes, you will need to show your ID during the screening and it must be exact match in order to be tested.

What biomarkers are covered in the blood test and diagnostics?

Our comprehensive blood test covers 67 key biomarkers related to your health and longevity, including cardiovascular health, liver function, kidney function, blood glucose levels, and various essential vitamins and minerals. You can read more about them on here.

What's your policy if I want to cancel the service?

Mito does not offer refunds for prior payments. Please email to membership@mitohealth.com for any account related matters.

Can I claim this expense from my company?

Absolutely, this expense would fall under the wellness benefits for most companies. We are also a registered clinic & telemedicine provider in Singapore for health screenings. Can I purchase Mito for my family or friends?

What payment options are available?

We currently accept credit card payments. For other payment options, please contact us at membership@mitohealth.com and our team will be more than happy to assist you.

Diagnostic Process

How are the blood tests done?

Mito Health does blood testing at our partner laboratory, Eurofins. Eurofins is a leading international life sciences company that specialises in laboratory testing. The Singapore lab is accredited annually with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the Singapore Accreditation Council.

Do I need to fast before my blood draw?

Yes, you will need to fast for at least 8 hours before your blood draw. Not fasting adequately might affect various test outcomes, such as insulin levels, glucose readings, triglyceride levels, and more.

Can I have follow-up consultations with the physician?

Yes, our physicians are available for follow-up consultations to discuss any changes in your health status and to adjust your health optimisation plan if needed.

What additional diagnostic tests do you offer?

In addition to the in-depth blood test, you can access a variety of advanced diagnostic tests at competitive prices. These include allergy screenings, DEXA scans, bone mineral density analyses, gut microbiome assessments, genetic testing, and cancer screenings.

Do I need to prepare anything for these tests?

Certain tests may require specific preparation, like fasting for a few hours beforehand. We will provide all necessary instructions before you take any test.

Privacy & Security

How does Mito Health keep my medical data safe?

Mito Health is PDPA compliant and we take the privacy and security of your data extremely seriously. We implement a range of measures to protect your data, including the latest technical security practices as well as comprehensive administrative measures.

Your data is encrypted both at-rest and in-transit, ensuring that your sensitive information is always protected. We use best-in-class encryption protocols to provide robust protection against unauthorised access. We also implement strict access controls to ensure that only personnel involved in your care can access your health records.

Who will have access to my results?

Your results are kept between Mito Health and you. Mito Health service providers, such as our blood testing lab (Eurofins), will have access to your results too.

Your results are not shared with national medical databases or insurers.

Can I access or control my personal medical data?

Yes, you have full access to your medical data through our secure member portal.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Your medical data belongs to you and nobody else. You can opt to delete your data anytime if you wish by contacting us at membership@mitohealth.com. Please know that by deleting it, we will not be able to recover it should you change your mind.

My Results

How do you create the health optimisation plan, and what does it include?

The health optimisation plan is a comprehensive strategy based on your personal health analysis. It includes recommendations on dietary changes, exercise routines, sleep habits, and possible supplementation to meet your specific health needs.

When and in what format will I get my test results?

Typically, you will receive your results within a week of testing. They will be available on your personal health dashboard in an easy-to-understand format.
